Kyle & Amanda – September 2016

A beautiful wedding and memorable party celebrating these two love birds! The colours and theme incorporated everything the bride loves – her favourite colour purple, yellow roses in memory of her mother, her bouquet had personalized charms, a jenga piece guestbook, rustic seating chart, personalized décor with pictures of the bride and groom at each table, framed quotes from her favourite songs, and of course Oreo inspired cupcakes! Catering was done by their amazing aunt, flowers and bouquet from 99 Nurseries & Florist, music to dance to all night by DJ Jay Ville, hair and makeup by the beautiful Tara from Hair Matters in Sechelt, and the amazing photographs captured by Laura Winship Photography. The ceremony was very unique with special touches that painted a picture of who they are – with a custom arch built by the groom himself sitting in the middle of nature, their dog Abby who walked Kyle down the aisle, personalized vows that made everyone cry, and a beautiful blanket ceremony preformed by Amanda’s grandmother.  Such a wonderful night that will never be forgotten. xo

Ahoy it’s a Boy! – April 2016

Nicholas Jr. is a lucky little boy, loved by so many and this party for him truly showed that! Mom loved the idea of nautical theme for her little man so we delivered! Another DIY event by Amanda – with many personalized items that now hang in the nursery, a diaper cake sailboat, sea bath salt favours for the guests, message in a bottle guestbook, and some yummy chocolate cupcakes shaped into an anchor to support the theme! It was a little windy but we managed to hold the fort down for this special little guy! xo

Turning One – September 2014

Your first birthday should always be memorable and full of fun! For this little girl it was over the top fun! A bouncy castle and ball pit was the perfect combo for this little one – while the carnival games took care of the entertainment for the older ones! Delicious cupcakes made by Homemade From the Heart tied the theme together well along with the popcorn and snow cone machines! And by far, Nevaeh’s cake smash session taken by True Colors Photography, took the cake! Nevaeh’s carnival was a big hit and we wouldn’t have planned it any other way! xo

Happy 7th Birthday – January 2014

Welcome to Myrah’s 7th birthday! She has always been a little diva, so what better way to celebrate than on the runway! Hey, even the parents were having fun & walking it! This was a total DIY event by Amanda – with personalized name tags, an awesome runway with curtain and custom birthday banner, craft your own purse for the little ladies, Barbie inspired cake and cupcakes, and we even finished the day with a glamorous photo shoot. We ordered pizza and had champagne glass veggies and dip. Photography was done by the amazing True Colors Photography. xo

Showered With Love – August 2013

With another baby on the way you definitely need to find the time to celebrate! The amount of love and support from family at Nevaeh’s baby shower was amazing. This was not your normal girls only baby shower. We decided to include men as well and its a good thing we did because it was so much fun! Lots of games were played including “don’t break your water”, which you can see Grandpa was having a blast playing! A baby poop game was implanted which, although gross, was really funny when guests started sniffing and even tasting the chocolate filled diapers. The best man, in their future wedding, won a game of “whose the father” – an adult version of pin the tail on the donkey! On the menu were burgers and platters of veggies, bowls of salads, and an awesome baby carriage made of fruit! Instead of a guest book we had all the guests write their messages for Nevaeh on a chalk board and took pictures of them with their encouraging words. A big belly cake was made by a good friend and cake pops with thank you tags were given out as favours. All in all this was a beautiful day with lots of laughs, love, and full bellies! xo
